What Sink Installation Involves

Sink installation connects a new sink basin to the home’s drain and supply systems. This work falls under the broader scope of residential plumbing installation.

That includes the tailpiece, P-trap, drain arm, hot and cold supply lines, and the faucet assembly. The work varies depending on whether it is a kitchen undermount, a drop-in bathroom sink, a vessel bowl, or a utility sink in the garage.

We handle every piece of the plumbing side. We disconnect and remove the old sink if there is one, confirm that the drain and supply stub-outs line up with the new unit, and adjust them if they do not. Las Vegas hard water corrodes supply valves and drain fittings over time, so we inspect those during every install and replace anything that is close to failing. Once everything is connected, we run water, check the trap seal, and confirm the faucet operates at the right pressure.
