What Shower Installation Involves
Shower installation is the plumbing work required to connect a new shower to your home’s hot and cold supply lines, drain system, and vent stack. That includes setting the mixing valve at the right height, running supply lines to it, positioning the drain in the pan or base, and making sure everything vents correctly so the drain does not gurgle or slow down.
We handle the full plumbing scope as part of our plumbing installation services. For new construction or a gut remodel, that means running lines from scratch. For a swap, we disconnect the old unit, adjust valve and drain positions if the new shower has different specs, and reconnect everything. A lot of Las Vegas homes from the 1990s and early 2000s have single-handle valves that do not meet current code for anti-scald protection. We flag those during the install and replace them if needed. Every line gets pressure-tested before we call it done.
