What Goes Into a Professional Plumbing Install

Plumbing installation means putting in new fixtures, pipes, or equipment and making sure everything connects correctly. That could be a single faucet install, replacing an old toilet, or setting new equipment in place.

A proper install includes:

  • Shutoff control: We verify shutoff valves work and replace them when needed.
  • Secure connections: Supply lines and fittings are installed tight, aligned, and leak-tested.
  • Correct drainage: Traps and drain connections are set properly to prevent leaks and odor issues.
  • Stable mounting: Fixtures are sealed and secured so they don’t wobble or damage surfaces.
  • Final testing: Water is turned back on and everything is tested before we leave.

Before we wrap up any install, we check a few things most companies skip. We test your water pressure, and honestly, a lot of Vegas homes run hotter than they should on PSI. If pressure is too high, it wears out valves, supply lines, and even your water heater faster than you’d expect. We’ll verify whether you need a pressure reducing valve or if yours is still doing its job.

We also look at the connections themselves. If you’ve got older copper meeting newer fixtures, there’s a chance dissimilar metals could cause corrosion over time. We use dielectric unions where that’s a concern. On homes with slab foundations (which is most of the valley), we check that the drainage slope is right and there aren’t signs of shifting or settling that could affect the new installation.

If the job requires a Clark County permit, we handle that too. You shouldn’t have to guess whether your install is up to code. We make sure it is.

Las Vegas hard water is no joke either. Mineral buildup can seize fittings and clog aerators faster than most homeowners expect, so we plan for that upfront. A “simple install” shouldn’t turn into a surprise two months later.
