What Dishwasher Installation Involves
Every dishwasher hookup involves three connection points: the hot water supply valve under the sink, the drain port at the garbage disposal or a dedicated fitting, and backflow prevention through an air gap or high loop. Every connection has to be tight and accessible.
We handle the full plumbing scope. That means shutting off water, connecting the braided supply line to the hot water valve, routing the drain hose correctly, and testing for leaks at every joint. In a lot of Las Vegas homes, the existing shutoff valve under the sink is original to the house. If it is corroded or does not close all the way, we replace it during the install rather than leave you with a valve that might fail later.
We also check water pressure. Las Vegas municipal pressure runs high in some neighborhoods, and a dishwasher supply line that is not rated for it will eventually blow. Most dishwashers also require a dedicated 120-volt circuit. If the electrical hookup is not already in place, we coordinate with a licensed electrician so the full installation is handled in one visit.
