What Happens on an Installation Call
We start with a site assessment before any equipment gets ordered. We look at your current system, ductwork condition, electrical capacity, and home layout. We run a Manual J load calculation based on your square footage, insulation, window exposure, and attic conditions.
You get equipment options with honest recommendations on what fits your home and budget. No pressure toward a specific brand.
Once you approve the equipment and price, we schedule the install. Most residential installations are completed in one day.
After startup, we verify refrigerant charge, airflow, temperature split across supply and return, and system cycling before we close out the job.

AC Tune-Up
If you’re keeping your current system and want to extend its life, a tune-up before peak season is the right move. We check refrigerant levels, clean coils, test electrical components, and verify airflow so the system is ready for the heat.
Want to get more life out of your current system? Take a look at our AC Tune-Up page.
-
HVAC Maintenance
After a new installation, regular maintenance keeps the system running at the efficiency rating it was designed for. Skipping maintenance in Las Vegas conditions shortens equipment life faster than in most markets.

Commercial AC Repair
If you’re evaluating replacement for a commercial property, restaurant, or office space, the commercial repair page covers how we approach those systems differently.

High Efficiency AC Units
If energy costs are a priority, high efficiency equipment is worth a serious look. Units rated at 16 SEER2 and above use less electricity per cooling cycle than standard models, and in a market where the system runs eight or nine months a year, the monthly savings add up. We carry options across efficiency tiers and walk you through the upfront cost versus the long-term operating cost so you can make an informed decision.
-
AC System Upgrades
Not every installation is a full replacement. Sometimes the smart move is upgrading specific components on an existing system. A variable-speed blower, a higher-rated coil, or a communicating thermostat can improve comfort and efficiency without replacing the entire unit. We evaluate what you have and tell you whether a targeted upgrade or a full swap makes more sense for your situation.
-
Packaged AC Unit Installation
Packaged units house the compressor, condenser, and evaporator in a single cabinet, usually mounted on the roof or a concrete pad beside the home. They are common in older Las Vegas construction and in commercial properties where space is limited. We install, replace, and service packaged units across the valley and handle the electrical, gas, and duct connections as part of every job.
-
Central Air Conditioning Installation
Central air is the standard whole-home cooling setup in most Las Vegas homes. One outdoor condenser, one indoor air handler, and a duct system that distributes air to every room. If you are replacing an aging central system or installing one for the first time in a home that does not have it, we handle the full job: load calculation, equipment selection, duct evaluation, and verified startup. For homes where room-by-room temperature control is a priority, a zoned setup can be added during installation.

Proper Sizing Matters in Las Vegas (Why We Run a Load Calculation)
Most AC problems in Las Vegas homes trace back to a system that was never sized correctly to begin with. Oversizing is common because contractors default to “bigger is safer.” It isn’t. An oversized system cools the space too quickly, shuts off before dehumidifying properly, and short cycles through its components faster than a correctly sized unit would.
We use Manual J load calculations on every installation. That means we factor in:
- your actual square footage
- ceiling height
- insulation values
- window orientation
- and attic conditions
The U.S. Department of Energy notes that an oversized unit will cool a space too quickly without dehumidifying it properly, leading to discomfort and wasted energy. Correct sizing is the foundation of efficient, comfortable cooling.
We handle every install to code and verify safe startup before the job is closed out.
Signs It’s Time to Replace Your AC System
Most Las Vegas homeowners know a replacement is coming before they want to admit it. The system keeps running, but the signs add up. Here’s what usually tips the decision:
Our commercial expertise includes:
- The system is 12 to 15 years old or older and has needed multiple repairs in recent seasons
- The compressor has failed and the repair cost is approaching half the price of a new unit
- The evaporator coil has a refrigerant leak and coil replacement pricing puts you close to new-system cost
- The system still uses R-22 refrigerant, which hasn’t been manufactured or imported since 2020 and relies on increasingly expensive reclaimed supply
- Refrigerant loss keeps recurring, pointing to a chronic leak repairs haven’t resolved
- The system can no longer keep the home comfortable during peak Las Vegas heat despite working correctly
- Monthly energy bills have climbed significantly compared to prior years on the same equipment
A newer system rated in SEER2 efficiency will cost less to operate each month than aging equipment running at reduced capacity. Whether you’re looking at a full AC replacement or weighing it against another repair, we’ll show you the install cost versus expected operating cost difference so you can make the call with full information.
