How to Find Your HVAC Rating Plate
To enter the HVAC System Giveaway, please upload a clear photo of your system’s rating plate (also called a data plate or nameplate).
What to Include in the Photo
Please make sure the photo clearly shows:
- Brand
- Model number
- Serial number
Where to Look
- Outdoor Unit (AC condenser): Check the side or back of the unit outside your home.
- Indoor Unit (furnace or air handler): Usually located in a garage, closet, attic, or utility room. The plate is often inside the front panel or on the side of the unit.
