Hydro Jetting Services
Hydro jetting is basically power washing for your pipes. We use specialized equipment that shoots water through your drains at 3,000 to 4,000 PSI. That high-pressure water blasts through grease buildup, mineral deposits, roots, and pretty much anything else clogging your pipes.
It’s way more effective than snaking for certain types of blockages. A drain snake can poke a hole through a clog, but hydro jetting actually cleans the entire pipe. The water scours the walls of the pipe, removing buildup that’s been accumulating for years.
We use hydro jetting for:
- Severe grease clogs in kitchen drains
- Hard water mineral buildup (major issue in Vegas)
- Root intrusions in sewer lines
- Clearing main sewer lines
- Preparing pipes before we do camera inspections or repairs
It’s also great preventative maintenance for restaurants and commercial properties. If you’re running a kitchen that dumps a lot of grease down drains, regular hydro jetting (like twice a year) can prevent expensive emergency clogs.
One thing to know – we can’t hydro jet very old pipes that are already damaged. The high pressure could make existing cracks worse. That’s why we usually do a camera inspection first to make sure your pipes can handle it.
After hydro jetting, your drains should flow like new. Most of the time, people notice water draining way faster, even in drains they didn’t think were clogged. That’s because they probably had a partial buildup that was slowing things down.
Drain Camera Inspection
You can’t fix what you can’t see. That’s why camera inspections are so valuable for drainage problems. Instead of guessing what’s wrong or digging up your yard randomly, we can see exactly what’s happening inside your pipes.
We use a waterproof camera on a flexible cable that we feed through your drains. The camera sends back real-time video so we can identify problems – cracks, root intrusions, collapsed sections, bellied pipes, buildup, foreign objects stuck in the line. The camera also has a locator beacon, so we know exactly how deep it is and where it is under your property.
Camera inspections are great for
- Diagnosing recurring drain clogs to find the root cause
- Finding where a sewer line is damaged before we dig
- Checking for problems before buying a house (seriously, get this done during inspections if the home is over 30 years old)
- Verifying repairs were done correctly
- Locating where your main sewer line runs (alot of people don’t actually know)
The inspection usually takes about an hour. We provide you with the video footage and photos of any problems we find. If you need repairs, you’ll have documentation showing exactly what’s wrong. If you’re trying to get insurance to cover something, that video evidence can be really helpful.
Cost-wise, a camera inspection pays for itself if it prevents unnecessary digging or helps you catch a problem before it becomes an emergency. We’ve saved customers thousands by finding issues early through camera work.
