With Father’s Day right around the corner, you’re probably wondering what exciting gift you should get for that father figure in your life. Maybe another tie? No. Maybe a new pair of socks. Nah. How about some waterproof speakers that have great bass when playing music for his morning showers? Better yet, what if you could add a little organization to his man shed?
We’ve been thinking about all the different ways we can spoil the men who molded us into who we are today and came up with a list of five perfect plumbing gifts to make this Father’s Day one for the books.
1.Bluetooth Shower Speaker
Let’s be honest here, who doesn’t like to listen to music and sing in the shower? Dad isn’t any different than the rest of us! So why not give him the gift of groove this Father’s Day by getting him a bluetooth speaker for the shower!
With so many options for speakers out there, we thought we would at least try and help you narrow the search. Business Insider posted a fun little review of the Soundbot Bluetooth Speaker for the shower. This newly designed speaker allows the user to stream music, podcasts or audiobooks seamlessly from their smartphone or tablet. But that’s not the coolest part! It’s water resistant, has a suction cup on the back so dad can have it in the shower with him, as well as a built in microphone to make a phone call or send a voice-to-text message.
With this gadget, priced at a mere $15, Dad can listen to his favorite playlist, podcast, or YouTube video while he goes through his morning routine.
2. New Sprinkler
If Dad has a green thumb, he’s never going to turn down a new sprinkler for his collection. The Spruce compiled a list of the top eight sprinklers to maintain that green garden glow.
We’re a fan of their first pick, the Webram Lawn Sprinkler. You’re looking at 12 individual nozzles mounted on three rotating arms. Its larger angles will also allow him to cover more area and avoid dead spots on the lawn. With a price point of $11, if you have Amazon Prime, it’s basically a steal.
Another cool gadget to help your dad with the front or back yard, is an oscillating sprinkler system. This type of sprinkler is for the more traditional rectangular or square yards. An oscillating sprinkler is pretty cheap, and it also helps you conserve water!
3. Pegboard for Organization
Dad’s probably built up quite the wealth of plumbing tools throughout his career as a handyman, right? Why not surprise him with a fully-organized tool shed or garage? If you can keep him out of his workspace for an afternoon, this DIY project you can do in just one afternoon! Below is a before and after shot of what the pegboard looks like.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Three to nine pieces of 1’x2′ pegboard (depending on how big you want to go)
- Wood screws
- Pegboard accessories
- Stud finder

4. Water Softener
Las Vegas water hardness is some of the worst in the nation. Hard water means it’s loaded with magnesium and calcium. Meanwhile, clean and healthy water leaves everyone feeling pure.
See if you can set Dad up with some of your favorite Las Vegas plumbers who can install a water treatment system to make everything from laundry day to bath time easier for the whole family. This will take a whole lot of work and stress off of Dad!

By following the quick and simple steps outlined in this video, you and your dad can keep your family and house healthy, by keeping your plumbing pure.
This Father’s Day, allow us to unclog the drains for your Dad. We’d like to extend a $250 discount on our hydro-jetting service. With some high-powered water pressure, we’ll knock out any of those drains that need cleaning.
And, if you’re really looking to spoil Daddy-O, consider throwing in a whole home inspection. If he’s the kind of guy who likes to have all his ducks in a row, he’ll appreciate the peace of mind that comes with a passing grade on a whole home inspection.
